Student for a Day
|Autumn 2018||At the departments|
|Spring 2019||At the departments|
'Student for a Day' is an intensive introductory programme that aims to introduce prospective students to individual degree programmes. You literally get to be a ‘student for a day’. This means you will follow lectures, participate in research practicals or tutorials, meet students and lecturers and perhaps even get a taste of student life.
'Student for a Day' is intended for advanced prospective students who have already attended events such as an Open Day but are still not quite sure about their choice of degree programme.
'Student for a Day' is organized twice a year, in spring and in autumn. During this event you will follow real lectures, meet students and you may even get to work on actual assignments. This will give you a clear idea of what the degree programme involves. Each faculty or degree programme designs its own programme, so it depends on your preferred degree programme what your 'Student for a Day' event will look like. There may be a modest participation fee.
