Student for a Day
Are you considering doing the History Bachelor at our University? Or do you want to be prepared to the fullest before you get started with this programme? Then, ‘Student for a Day’ is just the thing for you! You will definitely gain more insight into what the programme will bring. There is no better way to prepare.
During the Student for a Day:
- You will attend a lecture with current first year History students
- You will meet the student ambassadors and the study association GHD Ubbo Emmius.
- You will get the chance to discuss the degree programme with current students and staff members
- You will participate during a seminar
- You will get a tour of the main buildings
- And there will be enough time for all your questions

- 11.30 AM Opening, word of welcome
- 11.35 AM Quick outline of the BA History
- 11.45 AM Introduction of the study association GHD Ubbo Emmius
- 12 PM Lunch with students and staff members
- 1 PM Interactive seminar
- 2.30 PM Tour by GHD Ubbo Emmius
- 3 PM Lecture HR IV: Sources
- Zernikezaal (in the Academie building)
- 4 PM Q&A with student ambassadors and study advisers
- 4.30 PM End of the programme
