University Services
Sustainable and active environment
University Services is an organization with over 900 permanent staff members and a total of over 1,250 staff members. We are working to create a vibrant, inspiring, sustainable, and active academic environment, where students and staff can develop their talents and feel challenged.
Facilitate and support
University Services provides support services for teaching, research, and business operations, both proactively and on request. A selection of our work:

We proudly fulfil an important role with the UG as a facilitating, supportive, and advisory service unit.
Working together and strategy
We offer staff members, students, and other parties one contact point for any questions they may have. In addition, we work closely together with faculties and other service units to be of service to them in the best manner possible. In this way, we facilitate high-quality teaching and research within the context of the UG’s Strategic Plan.

The clusters are headed by cluster directors, the staff departments fall under the University Services Management. Together, the clusters and staff departments provide professional, proactive, and cohesive support services for teaching, research, and business operations.

University Services management team (MT US)
The University Services management, together with the five cluster directors, forms the Management Team (MT) of University Services. The MT US has three central goals and tasks:

Policy preparation: directing strategy and policy processes, looking at the long-term and fulfilling the radar function, iin which new developments are identified and discussed

Integrality stimulation and monitoring to ensure connection and overview

Management of University Services: from day-to-day to long-term
The MT US meets weekly for meetings, during which the MT US members discuss own or suggested topics and share experiences. Together, the MT US members ensure that University Services runs smoothly. The MT US also has an advisory role towards the Board of the University of the UG and the relevant decision-making processes.
