Grants for internships in The Netherlands
Over the coming months (as from now), the Groningen University Fund (GUF) will temporarily provide grants for internships conducted in the Netherlands. These grants are intended to cover extra costs that students have to incur for their internships.
Grants may not be requested for digital internships (undertaken from home).
Requesting a travel grant for an internship abroad
Internships abroad will not currently be honoured, in accordance with governmental and UG policy. All in-person exchange programmes in the second semester of the current academic year have also been cancelled. In addition, the government and UG are advocating negative travel advice for trips abroad. As long as this negative travel advice applies, no grants will be provided for trips abroad.
Conferences/Symposia
Grant requests for in-person conferences or gatherings held during the current academic year (until the end of August 2021) will not be honoured.
Grants may be requested for digital gatherings, under the same conditions as usual.
For all details and conditions, please visit the webpage application for financial support.
