Travel grants for Bachelor’s, Master’s and MD/PhD students

Every year, the GUF awards a limited number of grants to Bachelor's, Master's and MD/PhD students from the University of Groningen who travel abroad for study, research, internship or a foreign study exchange that form part of the curriculum. The grant for outstanding Master’s students is no longer available, in its place the standard grants were raised. The maximum grant for a period spent in Europe is €650 and for a period spent outside Europe €750.
For outstanding Master students there is the possibility to apply for a grant to attend a conference (in The Netherlands or abroad) or to enroll in a summer or winter school. The standard amount is €250.
For all grants you must comply with the average mark requirements, marks will not be rounded up. Students are only entitled to one personal travel grant and one conference grant from the GUF during the total period of their studies.

Each month we will ask 4 students/organizers to send in a report with pictures and/or a video, to be published on our blog.
This will be specified in the award letter.
