During my master, I researched the influence of goal conflict, goal adjustment, and personality on the levels of burnout of medical students at the University of Groningen.
Currently, as a Ph.D., I continue working with medical students, this time, designing an intervention to address their burnout levels.

My research focuses on individual differences that make one vulnerable to develop pathological anxiety or trauma-related disorders, and on understanding pathogenic mechanisms involved to ultimately (further) develop and test (new) interventions to treat psychopathology.
