Bertus Jeronimus studies individual differences in personality and subjective wellbeing ("happiness") and stress, and their lifespan trajectories and connections with affect/emotion/mood dynamics (internalizing problems) and the socioecology in which one lives and grows, especially intimate support relationships, daily activities, adverse events, culture, and history. Jeronimus works at the University of Groningen in the Department of Psychology and in the Interdisciplinary Center Psychopathology and Emotion regulation (www.ICPE.NL).
