Opening hours and closing days

General office hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. - 5 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays the buildings of the University are closed.

On the following dates in 2023 the University of Groningen will be closed:

Sunday 1 January - New Year's Day
Friday 7 April - Good Friday
Sunday 9 & Monday 10 April - Easter Day & Easter Monday
Thursday 27 April - King's Day
Friday 5 May - Liberation Day
Thursday 18 May - Ascension Day
Sunday 28 & Monday 29 May - Whit Sunday & Whit Monday
Monday 25 & Tuesday 26 December - Monday 1 January 2024 - Christmas until New Year's Day
