Opening hours and closing days

General office hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. - 5 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays the buildings of the University are closed.

On the following dates in 2024 the University of Groningen will be closed:

Good Friday: Friday 29 March 2024
Easter (Easter Sunday and Easter Monday): Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April 2024
King's Day: Saturday 27 April 2024
Liberation Day: Sunday 5 May 2024
Ascension Day: Thursday 9 May 2024
Pentecost (Whit Sunday and Whit Monday): Sunday 19 and Monday 20 May 2024
Christmas (Christmas Day and Boxing Day): Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December 2024
