IMChip and MimeCure in top 10 of the national Academic Startup Competition
Prof. Tamalika Banerjee’s startup IMChip and Prof. Erik Frijlink and Dr. Luke van der Koog’s startup MimeCure have made it into the top 10 of the national Academic Startup Competition. This makes them two of the most promising academic start-ups in the Netherlands. The members of the start-ups will participate in a trade mission to Silicon Valley with ScaleNL this spring.
On June 2, the ten winners will be in the spotlight at the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) masterclass at Brainport Eindhoven.

About IMChip

The startup is working with the patented memristor technology from the research group of Prof. Tamalika Banerjee to develop chips for applications used in self-driving cars, for example, where onboard, highly efficient, low-latency AI tasks must be performed. The company officially started in the autumn of 2024 and is in the early stages of product development and attracting investors.
