Celebration 25 year Dutch Institute of Systems and Control, January 16, Bernoulliborg

19 December 2012
The Dutch Institute of Systems and Control (DISC) is one of the oldest national research schools in the Netherlands. It is the immediate successor of the Dutch Network of Systems and Control, which was created (at the University of Groningen !) in 1987. Since its inception it has offered an extensive and internationally acclaimed course program to PhD students in systems and control.
DISC is marking its 25 year of existence with the appearance of a book about its history. In Groningen this will be celebrated with a reception, where the book will presented by the scientific director of DISC to the Faculty Board and the Graduate School of Science, and, of course, to the joint systems and control groups of the Johann Bernoulli Institute (JBI) and the Research Institute of Technology and Management (ITM).
Place and time: Bernoulliborg, January 16, 16.30-17.30 (next to the Take Away)
