Eric Mazur's Recorded Confessions of a converted lecturer
On Wednesday May 9th Eric Mazur (Balkanski Professor of Physics and Applied Physics at Harvard University) presented a very inspiring lecture at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
Often, as lecturers, we focus on "what" to teach, not on "how" to teach this. Eric Mazur’s approach on “peer instruction” make learners active during lectures, makes learning more compelling, and improves retention.
