Master's student in Computing Science wins GUF-100 award

Joost Koehoorn, Master’s student in Computing Science, is proclaimed best student of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (formerly known as the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) and receives a GUF-100 award of EUR 2,500. On July 3rd, during the official close of the academic year, the University will award all GUF-100 prizes to outstanding students, one from each faculty. All degree programmes of the Faculty could nominate a student for the annual GUF-100 award, from which a faculty committee selected three students for the GUF-100 award.

From among the winners of the GUF-100 prizes on July 3rd, the winner of the RUG Excellence Award will be chosen.
