Cohort-study school-careers of pupils aged 5 to 18 years old: cool 5-18

Under the authority of the NWO, the GION together with the CITO, the ITS and the SCO-Kohnstamm Institute conducted a large scale longitudinal research project into the school careers of 20.000 pupils. The duration of this study has been 10 years. The GION and CITO are responsible for the part relating to secondary education and the mbo, the ITS and the SCO-Kohnstamm Institute conduct the part that concerns primary education. In this research project, pupils from the age of 5 until the age of 18 will be followed during their school careers within primary and secondary education, and the secondary vocational training (mbo).
