Teaching in Classics is organised within the following degree programmes:
Bachelor (BA) Griekse en Latijnse Taal en Cultuur. This Dutch-language programme offers language acquisition as well as training in all aspects of ancient languages, literature and culture. See this page for more information.
Master (MA) Classics and Ancient Civilizations. In the course of this one-year programme studenten complete their academic education through one of two tracks: Classics and Ancient History. Read more here.Educational MA Classics and Ancient Civilizations. In this two-year MA track in Dutch and English students train to be a Classics teacher (Greek and Latin Languages and Civilizations). The programme of the first year consists of Classics courses, combined with a secondary school internship in the second semester. Research Master (ReMA) Classical, Medieval and Early Modern Studies (CMEMS). This two-year, multidisciplinary and research-oriented programme offers students the space and specialised supervision to develop their research skills. Read more here.
