Informative meeting on the Master's degree program Computing Science
On Monday 20 April 2015 starting at 2:30 p.m., there will be an informative meeting for bachelor students who intend to start with the Master’s degree program Computing Science in the next academic year. The meeting will take place in room 289 of the Bernoulliborg building.
Students who enter the CS master's degree program, will have to choose one of three fields of specialization at the beginning of the program. The fields of specialization (also known as tracks) are:
- Intelligent Systems
- Software Engineering & Distributed Systems
- Computational Science & Visualisation
During the meeting on 20 April, there will be an informative talk on each of the three tracks. After these talks, the student adviser will provide information on the entry requirements to the master, the pre-master program for HBO students etc., and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you may have. After the break there will be two more talks on:
- the Master Education and Communication
- the Master Science, Business & Policy
These two master's degree programs are also accessible for students with a bachelor's degree in Computing Science, so it is advisable and interesting to attend these talks as well. These talks will take place in room 165, starting at 4:00 o'clock. The meeting will be concluded with drinks at the Take Away on the first floor of the Bernoulliborg.
For more information on the program is in a seperate leaflet. The meeting is intended for third-year bachelor CS students from the RUG and for students from HBO training programs (Hanzehogeschool, Windesheim Zwolle, NHL etc.), but anyone who is interested in our Master’s degree program, is welcome to join us. (The Computing Science talks will be given in English.)
