I combine qualitative and quantitative research methods with the ultimate goal to investigate the potential of the experience sampling method in clinical practice. I find it important to listen to the voices of patients and clinicians and use them in my research. I strive to close the gap between science and practice as much as possible.

I use tools from various methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mentalization based therapy and EMDR. Since we only offer short tracks, I can also guide you in finding a suitable referral address in case you need more.
I speak Dutch and English. I understand German.



As part of my job, I work as a statistical advisor for researchers in the UMCG Department of Psychiatry and in affiliated mental healthcare institutions.
