Research and Impact Council
The Research and Impact Council consists of the rector magnificus, the portfolio holders for research at our faculties, the cluster director for Research & Impact and the directors of the University Library and the CIT. The council is chaired by one of the portfolio holders for research. The current chair is prof. dr. Jochen Mierau for the period of 2026-2028.
The Research and Impact Council is a consultative body created to deepen and strengthen the advice of the College of Deans. In addition, the Council exchanges and explores thoughts and ideas at an early stage with a main focus on designing strategy and policy in the areas of research and impact at faculties and institutions.
