Summary:

This project is a follow up of previous project Social reintegration of patients after kidney transplantation (MU Dr. J. Rosenberger, PhD). In the current literature is the topic of quality of life in patients on dialysis and after kidney transplantation often discussed, but there is still a lack of knowledge about psychological factors associated to it. In this project, we plan to explore relations of anxiety, depression, personality traits and other psychological variables with quality of life, perceived health-status and compliance to therapy in patients with end-stage renal disease. Later on longitudinal analysis are planned.
