Summary:

This study is focused on the role of family environment factors in health risk behaviour, particularly excessive alcohol drinking among Slovak adolescents. First of all, we are interested in the structure (whether the adolescent lives in complete or non-complete family) of adolescent's family and its socio-economic position and the relation with excessive drinking. Secondly, social support is in the centre of our attention. Thirdly, certain aspects of relationships with parents as such (parental monitoring, communication with parents) are explored.
