Students' association Clio

Hello (future) IRIO student!

Clio is the students' association of International Relations and International Organization (IRIO) at the University of Groningen. It consists of 1100 members, and is thus the largest students' association at the faculty of arts. Every year, Clio has 70 active members that put in a lot of effort to organize all sorts of activities for its members.

Apart from a 10 to 20 percent discount on all the books needed for IRIO, Clio offers many different activities, both educative and informal. Examples of IRIO related activities are the annual Congress, Career Day Event, and a journey abroad. Besides this, Clio organizes all sorts of lectures and excursions, as well as parties and other informal activities. Also, Clio has its own magazine, Checks&Balances, which focuses on current international issues and events with a critical and educative note. Clio also publishes a yearbook for all students, as well as free summaries of the study material.

As you can hopefully conclude, Clio is a large students' association that actively provides activities for its students on both educative and informal occasions. We hope to see you at one of our activities and advise you to make use of the facilities we offer!
