Two Drug Design students at 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting
Every year a few students are selected from different countries to closely interact over several days with Nobel Laureates from their disciplines at the yearly "Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting" in Germany. Last year only nine students from Dutch universities could attend.
This year two students from the Drug Design group at the Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP) have been chosen: PhD student and holder of a Erasmus Mundus SWAGATA scholarship Ajay Chandgude and postdoctoral student Constantinos Neochoritis. "I am blown away about being chosen in a such high class meeting. This happens once in a lifetime and I feel deeply honoured, excited and sincerely look forward to be part of it. Interacting with the 70 Nobel Laureate and world’s top 650 young researchers in a week; it’s like a dream for me. This is a unique opportunity to experience science from a different perspective, to widen my horizons and get lifetime inspiration about how to do successful research with a great social impact", says Ajay Chandgude.
