New all round research institute for mathematics, computer science and artificial intelligence: Bernoulli Institute

The Faculty of Science and Engineering has established the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence to combine and expand the unique expertise in these disciplines available in Groningen. The Bernoulli Institute, for short, kicks off on June 1st, 2018.

Opening symposium
To mark the new institute, an Opening Symposium is held on November 1st, 2018 (Bernoulliborg - room 151). Save the date in your calendar! The program will include keynote lectures by renown international, speakers, networking and discussion sessions on the interplay of industry and fundamental research, showcases of interdisciplinary projects, as well as a poster session by young researchers. A detailed program will be announced shortly.
