H2020 research on the conversion and production of alcohols
The European Union has selected the ROBOX proposal as H2020 project. This project has 19 partners and will be coordinated by DSM Geleen. Prof. Marco Fraaije (Molecular Enzymology group, Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute) will act as project manager. The project entails an investment of EUR 10 million over the next four years of which about EUR 1 million is awarded to Fraaije’s research group. The proposal "ROBOX: Expanding the Industrial Use of Robust Oxidative Biocatalysts for the Conversion and Production of Alcohols" took first place in the selection.
ROBOX has received funding from the European Union (EU) project ROBOX (grant agreement n° 635734) under EU’s Horizon 2020 Programme Research and Innovation actions H2020-LEIT BIO-2014-1
