Eric Mazur's Recorded Confessions of a converted lecturer

11 May 2012

On Wednesday May 9th Eric Mazur (Balkanski Professor of Physics and Applied Physics at Harvard University) presented a very inspiring lecture at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

Often, as lecturers, we focus on "what" to teach, not on "how" to teach this. Eric Mazur’s approach on “peer instruction” make learners active during lectures, makes learning more compelling, and improves retention.

Eric Mazur will be keynote speaker at the European conference on e-learning, at the University of Groningen, 26-27 october 2012.
