COVID-19 information hour & vaccination location at de Beurs - Friday 3 September 9.30 - 12.00 (CEST)

The Municipality Health Service (GGD Fryslan) will be present at Campus Fryslân faculty building de Beurs in Leeuwarden on Friday 3 September 2021. Between 9.30 - 10.30 am all students, PhDs and staff members who want more information about COVID-19 and the vaccination programme in The Netherlands can ask their questions to a GGD medical practitioner. Between 10.00 and 12.00 there is also the opportunity to get a first COVID-19 vaccination. The exact location of both the information hour as well as the vaccination hours will be announced prior to the event.

The level of vaccination among students and staff is of crucial importance to keep higher education safe and open for all, yet vaccination is always voluntary.

First vaccination at de Beurs or elsewhere in The Netherlands

If you want to get your first vaccination on Friday 3 September at de Beurs then you don't need to make an appointment in advance, you can just walk in between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon (CEST). You only need to bring identification and a facemask. The vaccination will be a mRNA-vaccin (Pfizer or Moderna) and an appointment will be made for your second shot. Please note that you cannot get vaccinated within 8 weeks of a COVID-19 infection.

Second vaccination

Have you already received your first shot of an EU-authorized vaccine while you were abroad, and do you want to receive your second shot in the Netherlands? Then you can make an appointment for your second vaccination via this form on the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) website. It is not possible to get your second vaccination shot at de Beurs on Friday 3 September.

Was your first shot of a vaccine that has not been authorized by the EU yet, such as the Sputnik V or Sinovac vaccine, and do you want to receive your second vaccination in the Netherlands?
