Staff members with discipline Physics, Condensed Matter
Academia develops at the interface of different fields. This is one reason why the University of Groningen is home to a wide range of fields, each with a great number of subject specialists. The overview below, which is based on a standard categorization of fields, will help you find the right expert for each field. If you cannot find the expert you are looking for in this list, try searching via a related field or faculty; you may find him or her there.
Crystal growth: metal chalcogenides, hybrids, acenes
Condensed matter: magnetism, Hall, Seebeck, electrical resistance
XRD : powder, single crystal, radiation safety officer

Project management
Research impact
My primary role is to assist scientists and other research personnel with securing research funding to pursue their scientific activities at the departments of Biomedical Sciences of Cells and Systems (BSCS) at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). This includes tasks ranging from drafting grant proposals to project management. Further, I take part in the departmental outreach activities to increase the research footprint.
Previously trained as a PhD scholar in experimental physics with strong communication skills developed from extensive teaching, presenting and writing experience, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous research experience is in the areas of Spin electronics, Nanodevice fabrication, Cleanroom processing, Data Analysis, Critical Literature Review, and Experimental Design.
