Woerdman analyses climate plans by Dutch political parties on the national radio

28 November 2016
Dr Edwin Woerdman

Dr Edwin Woerdman is interviewed as climate expert on the Dutch national radio ('BNR Nieuwsradio') to comment upon the CO2 price proposals in the election programmes of Dutch political parties. His contribution starts at 5:22 minutes. Woerdman concludes that right-wing parties show more confidence in the CO2 market than left-wing parties that wish to directly intervene in the CO2 price. Most left-wing parties argue in favour of an additional CO2 tax or a CO2 minimum price.
