Fees, payment and cancellation
Course fees depend on the number of ECTS of the courses. In the academic year 2015-2016 prices are:
- € 225,- for a 5 ECTS course
- € 450,- for a 10 ECTS course
If the studyload of a specific course deviates from this, please contact the Office for Student Affairs.
The course fees will be paid to the University of Groningen by means of a mandate for direct debit. You authorize the university to debit your account by filling in your bank account number on the entry form and signing it. This is the only way to pay.
Information Services takes care of collecting the course fees. They will also send you your registration card.
If a course is cancelled by the university, the course fees will be refunded without any additional costs.
If a student withdraws from a course at least one working day before the start, the course fees will be refunded minus an administration fee of € 8,-.
If a student drops out after the semester or block has started, there will be no refund.
