Booking and borrowing
A number of teaching and research facilities can be directly booked and/or borrowed by users.
MyPC enables you to book a PC in the independent study room in the Harmonie Complex (1313-0240). This PC will be available only to you. Go to https://mypc.service.rug.nl and log in using your S or P number. Find out more about the various options and download the instruction manual.
The multimedia rooms can be found on the first floor in section 1313 of the Harmonie Complex. The MM rooms are in the corridor at the back of the independent study room in the Harmonie building. The MM rooms are intended exclusively for teaching. Reservations take place via regular timetabling or occasionally via the Faculty of Arts Scheduling Rooms service (email@example.com).
You can book and borrow different types of equipment at the AV Services desk. AV Services only loans out equipment for teaching, research and faculty communication/PR purposes.
- Video projectors
- Video cameras for special project teaching and research
- Voice recorders
- Reporter recorders
- Transcription sets (ergonomic and useful for processing interviews)
- Tripods (for microphones and cameras)
- Studio facilities
Borrowing audiovisual devices is in principle free of charge for staff members and students of the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts, as long as the intended use has a real and demonstrable relation to teaching, research, or communication and PR.
The materials used and the costs of services by third parties will be charged to the relevant department or service. Unless otherwise specified, most equipment is exclusively intended for use within the Harmonie Complex. When reserving equipment please take into account that there is an application waiting period. This period may vary from an hour to a few working days, depending on the situation. Facilities can be provided as long as the stock lasts.
