The advantages of a digitale whiteboard

Most of the lecture rooms in the Harmonie building are equipped with large touch-sensitive screens made by cTouch. Instructors can write on these whiteboards with special pens, insert text and images, mark these with different colours and do many more things. The produced screens can be saved as a PDF file and distributed to students. Birgit Lijmbach, teacher of Dutch as a Second Language at the Language Center demonstrates how she uses the digitale whiteboard and the accompanying SMART Notebook software (Dutch spoken w/o subtitles).
