Research institutes

The themes of the faculty’s research encompass all the behavioural and social sciences: It ranges from research into the functioning of the human brain on micro level to the analysis of large-scale processes in society.

Research of the faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences is embedded in three research institutes:

• The Heymans Institute for Psychological research
• The Nieuwenhuis Institute for Educational research
• The Groningen Centre for Social Science Research (Sociology)
