Chairs
Psychological research is organized in Expertise groups. These groups are part of the research institute of the Department of Psychology: the Heymans Institute for Psychological Research.
A professor holds a chair with a specific teaching assignment. This teaching assignment is the subject or course which he or she teaches and researches. This chair is organized under a ''basiseenheid' (translated literally: 'basic unit').
