Lectures at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies take place in small groups, so students can benefit optimally from the lecturers’ broad expertise. The courses are characterised by a continuing interaction between the lecturers and the students, leaving ample room for student participation, discussion and: continuous coaching which motivates students and staff to work and strive for excellency.
Students interested in studying for one or two semesters in Groningen can choose from a variety of courses (e.g. cultural history of Christianity or Hinduism), specialisations (from Islam to philosophy) and methodologies (from philology to anthropology).
