Prof. Katsonis KHMW member and member of KNAW Advisory Council
Prof. Nathalie Katsonis of the Stratingh Institute for Chemistry has been appointed to the Council for Natural Sciences and Engineering (RNTW) of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). The appointment is for three years. This Council promotes policy for science and a research environment conducive to outstanding research in the natural sciences and engineering. This council also assists the Board of the KNAW in its advisory task to the Government. In the coming months, the activities of the Council will be focused on outreach activities on vaccination, as well as on the impact of the coronavirus on scientists, science practice and trust in science.
Recently, Katsonis was also appointed as member of the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities (KHMW).

Fundamental research with life-size effects
