Dr. Haslinger ontvangt Marie Curie Individual Fellowship
02 juli 2020
Dr. Kristina Haslinger, a new Assistant Professor in the Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP), received a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship worth EUR 190,000 for her project ‘fORPHAN’. With this project, Dr. Haslinger aims to combine computational and experimental methods into a universal workflow to characterize (‘de-orphanize’) new enzymes in fungi. This research will not only yield biotechnologically relevant catalysts but also provide the bioinformatic foundation for more challenging genome mining projects in fungi that Dr. Haslinger will tackle in the upcoming years at the FSE.
