  • If you find yourself in an emergency / crisis situation during office hours: Please contact your general practitioner (GP).

  • If you find yourself in an emergency / crisis situation after office hours: Please contact the GP-service of the hospital.

  • If you are afraid that you may hurt yourself, please chat or call 113 or (free of charge) 0800-0113 , or visit 113.nl/english for help with suicide prevention. You can also contact 113 suicide prevention if you know someone who is (possibly) suicidal. An information leaflet about 113 is available as well.

  • Are you worried that someone you know you might be suicidal? In the UG's suicide prevention protocol you will find tips on how to talk about this and, if necessary, which action to undertake.

The psychologists at the University of Groningen Student Service Centre cannot provide assistance in emergency/crisis situations or severe psychological problems.
