Internship at econnext

econnext is an “Industrial Holding with Purpose” founded in 2016 to build profitable businesses supporting the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We hold (majority) shares in a total of six start-ups from the sectors FinTec, renewable energy and environmental services. econnext strongly believes that existing but nascent ideas and technologies combined with professional execution will be able to motivate the large amounts of capital required to fight climate change, ensure food security or to provide basic infrastructure, health care and education on a global scale.

To support our team, we are looking for a

  • Full-time intern (f/m/d)
  • preferably 6 months, min. 3 months
  • as of September / October 2020

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the econnext team and the portfolio companies in various task, depending on your background and ranging from marketing initiatives to controlling and finance
  • Preparing internal and external meetings and developing meeting materials
  • Supporting sales initiatives, drafting and editing presentations
  • Taking the lead on your own subset of workstreams
  • (Market-) research and competitor analysis for our portfolio companies
  •  Attending internal and external meetings and writing comprehensive minute


Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, engineering or fields related to our portfolio companies and econnext
  • Commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German as an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a structured, flexible, and independent way
