We kindly invite you to attend the opening of the Academic Year and the official launch ceremony of University College Fryslân on Thursday 13 September 2018. The year 2018-2019 is extra special for Campus Fryslân. After all the efforts being put into the preparation of our new programmes (BSc Global Responsibility & Leadership, LLM Governance and Law in Digital Society and MSc Sustainable Entrepreneurship), we now welcome new staff members and most importantly: students.

After the welcoming words by prof. Jouke de Vries, Dean of Campus Fryslân, we give the floor to prof. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, who will be giving this year’s Gemma Frisius lecture. But it doesn’t end there, after the lecture Prof. Andrej Zwitter, dean of University College Fryslân, kicks of the festive launch of University College Fryslân. You will have a chance to meet staff and students and enjoy good music whilst having a drink.
