Master's event Tourism Geography and Planning
Join Cultural Geography/Tourism Geography and Planning during the master's week
Are you curious about which impacts tourism has on the social, cultural and spatial characteristics of an area? Do you want to know how tourists influence and experience places and cultures? How regional identities can be used for tourism planning, and how tourism could contribute to regional development?
You will tackle these questions and study the interactions between tourists, visitors and local communities in detail in the Tourism Geography and Planning track. This track is an optional programme of the Master Cultural Geography from the Faculty of Spatial Sciences in cooperation with Campus Fryslân.
