Researchers at the University of Groningen are actively conducting research into circularity and sustainability from a wide range of perspectives.

Circularity is an economic system in which raw materials are reused, waste is eliminated, and materials retain their value. Through reuse, repair and recycling, CO₂ emissions are reduced and dependence on new, finite raw materials is decreased.
