Now open for application: North Sea Energy Law Programme 2014-2016

A Master in Energy Law (LL.M*) for practitioners from both the public and private sector covering all aspects of energy law, offered jointly by the universities of Aberdeen, Copenhagen, Groningen and Oslo, starts in September 2014.

This programme is designed to equip lawyers to operate in the demanding environment of Energy Law. Leading experts will offer participants both the fundamental knowledge and the conceptual tools to deal with whatever challenges Energy Law raises.

This unique programme is designed for busy professionals through concentrated periods of teaching. Participants will learn the ins and outs of Energy Law in four courses at different universities. Every two-week block includes one or more site visits to, e.g., an oil platform under construction, an offshore wind farm or an underground gas storage facility.

The programme runs from September 2014 till August 2016 and concentrates on:

  • Electricity and Gas: Liberalising and Regulating the Market – Groningen
  • Upstream Oil and Gas law – Oslo
  • Energy Investments, Trade and Security – Aberdeen
  • Green Energy, Climate and Sustainable Development – Copenhagen

We welcome applications for the upcoming round. We do not charge application fees.
