How to apply?
It is important to check the admission requirements before applying, so you have all necessary documents available when doing so.
Please read the instructions for applying carefully; the instructions differ depending on the educational background you are applying with. Your degree is the determining factor in what you should and should not do and/or send when applying for one of our pre-LLM programmes. The sections below also include the deadlines applicable to your specific situation.
Non-law bachelor's degree from a Dutch research university
If you have a bachelor's degree from a Dutch research university in a different field than law, you need to apply for admission to the International and European Law (pre-Master, English taught) in Studielink. You then continue your application for the pre-LLM programme of your choice by uploading all your application documents in this application form. The Faculty of Law is in charge of your application.
You need to meet the admission requirements and selection criteria as laid out on this page.
If your non-law degree was fully taught in English, you can request an exemption from the English proficiency test.
Deadline
The deadline for application is 30 June.
Applications submitted after 30 June will not be considered for the pre-LLM programmes this upcoming September any more.
