The Admissions Office

The Admissions Office processes the applications for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes at the University of Groningen from international students and Dutch students with non-standard Dutch diploma. Together with the Admissions Board of the relevant faculty, the Admission Office will need to assess your eligibility for admission.

The full registration procedure consists of three steps: application, admission and registration.

Important note: We have noticed that in some cases Microsoft email accounts are blocked from receiving emails from the University of Groningen.

We highly recommend to register a non-Microsoft email address in Studielink (i.e. an email address that is not from hotmail, outlook, msn or live).

Services

Collecting and submitting documents

You need to make an appointment if you want to submit or collect documents at the desk.


In case you have a specific question regarding your application please contact the Admissions team in charge of your application. If you do not know who is in charge of your application please fill in the online contact form.

Certify your documents

If you want the Admissions Office to certify your documents for you, you will need to bring your original (diploma) documents (e.g. diploma, graduation statement, transcript, GMAT, English certificate, etc.), together with copies of these documents, so we can certify the copies for you.

Submit reference letter on behalf of student

As an employee of another educational institution, you can use the form below to submit a reference letter to the University of Groningen on behalf of a student.
