Congratulations on your acceptance to study at the University of Groningen!
Here you will find relevant information regarding the first steps to beginning your studies here in Groningen.
For those of you that will come to Groningen to follow our online education in semester 1, the University has created a page with extra information about moving to Groningen. For those of you arriving on 24, 25 and 26 August, the University of Groningen will provide an extra service called 'Movin' to Groningen'.
In the afternoon of 26 August, the Faculty of Law will organise an online introduction session for all students who will be participating in English-taught education in the Faculty. We will send you more information about one week before the event, so please keep track of your inbox.
In the morning of 27 August and on 28 August, the International Office will organise online information sessions for all students in which all procedures of the Faculty will be discussed, the systems we use will be explained and any questions you may still have can be discussed.
Participation in both the online introduction and information sessions is compulsory. Both sessions will provide you with a lot of important information, which will allow you to start your programme in a good manner.
All incoming students should thoroughly read through the Step-by-step guides for their studies below for information about these and other welcoming events for new students to the University of Groningen.
