Admitted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to study at the University of Groningen!

Here you will find relevant information regarding the first steps to beginning your studies here in Groningen. It is recommended that all students arrive in Groningen between August 23rd - 27th 2019. The Faculty organises a plenary introduction session for all students participating in the English-taught programmes on August 28th. In addition, induction sessions are offered for all programmes, which will take place on August 29th and August 30th. Participation in both the introduction and induction session is compulsory. Both sessions will provide you with a lot of important information, which will allow you to start your programme in a good manner.There will also be other orientation events for new students during these dates. You will receive further, detailed information about these events from the Faculty by email.

LLB students

Once you have accepted your study place and registered for the LLB programme, please follow the LLB step-by-step guide, which will help you set up all the necessary requirements for beginning your studies. If you have any questions regarding these first days in Groningen, please send an email to llb@rug.nl.

LLM students

Once you have accepted your study place and registered for the LLM programme, please follow the LLM step-by-step guide, which will help you set up all the necessary requirements for beginning your studies in Groningen. For those students who will enroll in the Global Law and Digital Society LLM that is taught in Leeuwarden, please follow the GLDS step-by-step guide. Exchange students

Once you have accepted your study place as an exchange student at the Faculty of Law, please follow the link you will receive by email to the Exchange Student Step-By-Step Guide, which will help you set up all the necessary requirements for beginning your studies.
