Communication, Career and Society

The Communication, Career and Society (CCS) department engages with the recruitment of prospective students in coordination with the labour market orientation of our students and the social relevance of humanities studies and research in the field.

Communication

The section Communication advises on the organisation of marketing and (internal) communication. We particularly focus on the recruitment of new BA and MA students, for which we utilize various online and offline channels and platforms.

Career

CCS is responsible for gathering information from alumni and employers to ultimately link this data with the supporting and academic staff as well as (prospective) students. Career Services operates as a policy and knowledge center in the connection to the domestic labour market and is the point of contact in regards to the sustenance of quality training. Advice is provided within the fields of internships, career services, and advisory boards.

Society

The department advises on and shapes the added social value of research in the humanities. The Science Shop Language, Culture and Communication links questions from civil society organizations to student research. The Alfasteunpunt organizes activities for secondary education; online, at school, and at university.
