Prof. Sebastian Sobecki receives John Hurt Fisher Prize 2016

The John Gower Society has awarded the John Hurt Fisher Prize for 2016 to prof.dr. Sebastian Sobecki.

The Society's highest honor, the Fisher Prize for "significant contribution to the field of John Gower Studies" is awarded annually at the Medieval Congress in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The John Gower Society (JGS) is dedicated to the study of the leading medieval poet John Gower. The Society promotes and encourages this study in several ways. The Society promotes and encourages this study in several ways:
