Introduction Week
Date: Monday 25 - Thursday 28 August 2025
The BA programme Media Studies officially starts with an Introduction week, with various activities to get you started as new Media Studies students. You will get the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the programme and the supporting organization, but also meet the staff, your teacher-mentor, your first-year work group and the student mentors. And last but not least, get to know the student association MESA, who will be organizing all the great events during this week.

Tuesday 26 August: A fun game of Crazy 88 with challenges throughout Groningen to help you explore the city!
Wednesday 27 August: A relaxing picnic in Noorderplantsoen, followed by a Pub Quiz and a Pub Crawl through Groningen!
Thursday 28 August: An optional boat tour through the canals of Groningen (you can sign up for this separately in the same form), followed by MESA Drinks, where the first 50 beers, wines, or sodas are on us!
