Philosophy Student for a Day

Students who wish to register for the Dutch-offered Een Dag Student Bachelor Filosofie can do so by switching to the Dutch language page.

Everyone who considers to study philosophy in Groningen is welcome to be a philosophy Student for a Day.

Philosophy of a specific discpline (English-taught)

Please note that most of our first-year courses are given in Dutch. But since we offer an English-taught bachelor Philosophy of a specific discipline, which starts in the second year of your first bachelor, we want to be open to current RUG students in the first year of their bachelor's too.

Visiting the faculty

Please contact the study advisor Anouk Labberté: fil-study-advisor rug.nl should you want to visit the faculty and attend a lecture. During the course of late 2026 a Student for a Day for the specific discipline will be organized.
