Honorary doctorate FEB for professor Rodrik, on 400th anniversary University of Groningen
On Friday 13 June 2014 Dani Rodrik, professor of Social Science (Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton) will receive an honorary doctorate of the University of Groningen, on the occasion of "University of Groningen 400 years". He will come to Groningen to receive the doctorate and give the Angus Maddison lecture, a workshop and a seminar.
Professor Rodrik is receiving an honorary doctorate in recognition of his exceptional performance as a scholar in the field of International Political Economy, and in particular his research on the interface of international economics, economic growth and development, and institutional and political economics.
